Make the most of your stay in Białystok

The ATEE 2026 Annual Conference is not only an opportunity for academic exchange, but also a chance to discover the unique history, cultural diversity and natural heritage of Białystok and the wider Podlasie region.

A limited number of places is still available for selected guided tours and regional excursions. Participants may choose from a walking tour of Białystok and full-day trips to Tykocin, Supraśl and Kruszyniany, or Białowieża.

Registration requests close on 20 July 2026 Participants interested in joining a tour should contact the Organising Committee before the deadline.

How to join a tour

Follow the steps below to request an additional booking.

Visit the Cultural Tours & Activities page to check the current number of available places and explore the detailed programmes.

View available tours

Contact us by 20 July

Send us your full name, ConfTool User ID and the name of the selected tour. We will add the activity to your conference registration.

Complete your payment

Once the tour has been added to your ConfTool registration, the additional fee must be paid by card. Due to the short time remaining, bank transfer payments will not be available for additional tour bookings.

Discover the many faces of Podlasie

Walk through the multicultural streets of Białystok, discover the historic heritage of Tykocin, experience the traditions of Supraśl and Kruszyniany, or explore the extraordinary natural landscape of Białowieża Forest. We warmly encourage you to take part and enjoy the region beyond the conference venue.
