The ATEE Annual Conference 2026 will be held at the University of Białystok, Faculty of Education in Białystok, Poland from the 25th to the 28th of August 2026.
The theme of the 2026 ATEE Annual Conference is ‘Crossing borders with and in teacher education’.
The conference welcomes teacher educators, researchers, doctoral students, policy-makers, and practitioners interested in teacher education and educational research.
The Call for Abstracts opens on the 7th of January 2026. Submissions must be made through the online platform on the conference website. You may submit individual papers, symposia, or posters.
The deadline for abstract submission is the 15th of March 2026. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by the 30th of April 2026.
Registration fees and categories (ATEE members, non-members, students, etc.) will be published in early 2026 on the official website. Early-bird rates will apply until the 8th of June 2026.
No, the 2026 ATEE Annual Conference will take place fully on-site in Białystok.

Online registration opens on the 1st of May 2026 through the online platform on the conference website. Participants are encouraged to register early to benefit from reduced rates.

No, the conference is open to both ATEE members and non-members, although ATEE members benefit from a reduced registration fee.
Yes, the programme will include a welcome reception, a regional dinner, a gala dinner, and optional cultural and sightseeing tours in and around Białystok.
Białystok is easily accessible from Warsaw, which is located about 180km away. The most convenient way to travel to Białystok is by train, car, or bus (approx. 2 hours from Warsaw).
Participants are responsible for booking their own accommodation. However, the organisers will provide a list of recommended hotels and guesthouses near the conference venue, with reduced rates for conference participants.
