Research and Development Communities
Research and Development Communities (RDCs) are at the core of ATEE. They bring together teacher educators from diverse professional backgrounds, researchers in teacher education, and other stakeholders from across Europe and beyond, fostering meaningful exchange, collaboration, and professional development.
RDC activities encompass a wide range of initiatives, including focused collegial exchange, collaborative research projects, in-depth discussions of key issues in teacher education, the development of policy recommendations and strategic initiatives, as well as the organisation of workshops and ATEE’s Winter or Spring Conferences. RDCs have produced numerous publications across a broad spectrum of teacher education topics and actively contribute to the Association’s journal, the European Journal of Teacher Education.
Participation in RDCs is open to both members and non-members of the Association. Below, you will find detailed information about each RDC.
